This Monstera plant is not a monster and it most certainly isn't delicious, but it is certainly a brilliant sight to see in a home when it grows awesome looking holes in its leaves! It is also commonly known as the swiss cheese plant, swiss cheese monstera or fruit salad plant.
The Monstera deliciosa Tauerii is a dwarf variety, which means it doesn't get as big as a normal Monstera deliciosa when fully grown, though it still does get pretty big! A bonus to this variety is that it develops leaf fenestratons / perforated leaves much earlier than the normal one!
Monstera deliciosa care is pretty basic as it gets for an indoor starter plant. Juvenile monsteras start off with normal leaves and as they mature, they develop fenestrations that you see in an iconic monstera leaf.
